Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced construction worker who can also act as a construction facility supervisor. This is a PART-TIME job with 8 hours of work 3 days in a week as minimum assurance- any day from Monday to Friday. However, it will be mostly 8 hours of work all 5 days in a week. The ideal candidate will have hands-on construction experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Duties

  • Supervise daily construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Oversee resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of materials and labor.
  • Perform general construction work as needed (demolition, carpentry, drywall, concrete, etc.).
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on construction best practices and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction.
  • Excellent blueprint reading and schematic interpretation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Valid driver's license and personal car is mandatory;
  • WHMIS and Working at Heights certifications are mandatory.
  • Should be willing to perform a criminal and judicial matters background check.
