Harbour Hills is a construction management firm located in Hamilton, Ontario that specializes in both residential and commercial construction in the Greater Hamilton Area.

We are immediately seeking a full time construction technician. The ideal candidate will have experience providing support to skilled trades on both residential and commercial job sites.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate and maintain heavy machinery and construction equipment (e.g., skid steers, excavators, loaders, etc.)
  • Handle and transport materials, tools, and equipment safely
  • Assist skilled tradespeople as required on both residential and commercial projects
  • Clean and prepare worksites for various phases of construction
  • Follow site safety protocols and supervisor instructions at all times
  • Set up and remove site signage, fencing, and cones to maintain a safe work environment
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions

Requirements:

  • Full G License and reliable transportation
  • Experience operating heavy machinery (certifications or proof of competency preferred)
  • Clean criminal record
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety standards
  • Familiarity with power tools and general construction practices
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Must supply own standard hand tools
  • Apprenticeship or trade specialization considered an asset, but not required
