Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting disciplines for automotive applications. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications. The Painter will collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver exceptional results while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.

Duties

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
  • Perform restoration work on existing surfaces to improve appearance and durability
  • Execute residential, commercial, industrial, and construction painting projects with precision and attention to detail
  • Use carpentry skills for minor repairs or adjustments prior to painting
  • Manage time effectively to complete projects within scheduled deadlines
  • Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials according to safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automotive refinishing
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools
  • Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques including sanding and chemical preparations
  • Familiarity with paint matching equipment , and color matching
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Customer service orientation with a professional attitude
