Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body prepper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, with the ability to prepare vehicles for paint. This position requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the capability to handle heavy lifting. The Auto Body prepper will play a crucial role in helping to restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- helping to sand, prep, mask, and assemble.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform minor bodywork.
- Replace or repair damaged parts such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and achieve quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Prepper or similar role in automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality workmanship and customer service.
