Job Information:

The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Credit Team, applying cash to customer accounts, deposits and processing c/c plus to assist to set up new accounts, and follow up with credit checks.

What you'll do…

  • DAILY BANK DEPOSITS, PROCESSING OF CREDIT CARDS & APPLYING CASH TO ACCOUNTS.
  • Work on initial set up of new customer accounts on our proprietary product management/ operational software (Great Plains, Quattro and Nutshell etc.)
  • Updating account information on all relevant collection and billing software
  • Processing credit checks on new clients using email or telephone
  • Auditing current accounts for accuracy and ensuring the Credit Database is current and up-to date
  • Providing support to the National Credit and Collections Manager and the Credit and Collections Team
  • Assisting with Year-End Reconciliation and Corporate Reporting

Who you are …

  • Knowledge of Great Plains software is required
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Administrative and/or customer service experience is an asset
  • Basic accounting knowledge, accuracy and detailed.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and adapt to change in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Team oriented along with being able to self regulate tasks in a timely manner
  • High School Diploma.
