**Overview**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
*
- Identifies and collects overdue and past due accounts.
- Calgary & Mississauga invoicing daily.
- Will provide back up support for credit/collections & Invoicing.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Manager
- Makes decisions regarding adjustments/changes to the terms and conditions of negotiated customer agreements, working within established guidelines.
- Maintains customer credit files and payments. May issue correspondence to customers on delinquent and/or disputed accounts.
- Lists and deposits current cheques/cash daily.
- Processes credit card transactions.
- Reconciles accounts when required.
- Identifies and codes short payments or invoice disputes for all discrepancies as identified by customers or Territory Managers.
- Resolve pricing & other disputes / discrepancies.
- Provides copies of customer statements, invoices, & credit notes as requested by customers.
- Maintains and updates customer card details in Navision (i.e., phone, fax, terms, etc.)

- Focuses primarily on the BC, AB & Prairies portfolio

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years experience in credit/collection and invoicing.
- Bilingualism an asset.
- Post-secondary education. College or university-level courses in accounting/bookkeeping preferred.
- Working towards CCP (Certified Credit Professional) Designation an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, proficiency in Excel and accounting software essential.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be flexible, detail-oriented, organized and keen.
