Chinook Medical Centre is a well established family and walk-in clinic in Calgary. We are seeking a Medical office assistant (MOA) to join our dynamic team, supporting and driving our mission of helping people live a healthy life .

We are ideally looking to hire someone who has 2 or more years of experience working as MOA, with a positive attitude towards learning and a coaching mindset. Salary range will reflect skills and experience accordingly.

If you are a team player with a passion for supporting Nurses and Physicians with the goal to provide exceptional patient care, with elevated customer service, experience performing back-end admin work, phone calls, taking vitals and measurements.

Medical Office Assistant Job Duties:

  • Welcoming patients and visitors, in person and on the telephone.
  • Address inquires appropriately from patients and doctors.
  • Scheduling patient appointments, updating patient EMR record.
  • Rooming patients and taking vitals.
  • Referrals, tasks and third party billing.
  • Following Covid protocols and clinic practices.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-3 years clinic experience
  • Customer service focus with strong communication skills
  • Detail oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
