McKenzie Towne Medical is looking to add a full time Medical Office Assistant to our clinic in South East Calgary. For this position we are looking for a candidate that is self- motivated, detail orientated, carries a friendly positive attitude and who displays clear communication skills with the ability to formulate independent thought processes, and noteworthy time management skills.

MULTI-TASKING AND CRITICAL THINKING IS A MUST

For this role, you will be responsible for greeting patients, booking, triaging and rooming patients, taking patients history and vitals as well as setting up for clinic procedures and assisting medical practitioners as needed. Our current EMR is Practice Solutions, having knowledge in this system is a must. Desired qualification includes:

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills in delivering compassionate, professional care and service to all patients in person and by phone

· Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask

· Previous experience with Telus PS Suite EMR

· Maintain daily clinic operations

· Critical thinking and problem-solving ability

· MOA Certification

· CPR Certification

· 1–2-year experience in medical office environment
