Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of daily office functions, supporting various departments, and maintaining an efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience managing office operations. Prior experience and familiarity with office management software such as Sage are highly desirable. Duties
- Oversee daily office operations, including front desk management and multi-line phone systems
- Manage human resources functions such as payroll processing, employee records, and onboarding procedures
- Handle bookkeeping tasks and utilize Sage for financial record-keeping
- Maintain organized filing systems and manage vendor relationships for supplies and services
- Assist with budgeting activities and monitor office expenses
- Ensure effective communication across departments through clear phone etiquette and professional correspondence
- Support administrative projects, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing office supplies
- Facilitate office policies and procedures to promote a productive work environment
Skills
- Proven supervising experience with team management capabilities
- Proficiency in Sage, bookkeeping, and general office software
- Strong front desk presence with excellent phone etiquette skills
- Experience in human resources, payroll administration, and vendor management
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in filing and record keeping
- Effective communication skills for interacting with staff, vendors, and clients
- Ability to handle clerical tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment
- Experience with training & development programs to enhance team performance
- Competency in budgeting processes and financial oversight
- Demonstrated ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism under pressure
