This posting is for a new vacancy within Lais Hotel Properties Limited.
Position Summary: Coordinates and maintains executive office and supports General Manager in all required functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities :
- Provides administrative support and project management to the General Manager of the Hotel.
- Develops and prepares General Manager's internal and external correspondence, proofed and ready for signature.
- Prepares and distributes agendas and management minutes for the weekly management meeting and other meetings as required.
- Coordinates and attends weekly management meetings and other meetings as required.
- Conduct guest feedback follow-up by reviewing comments and survey responses, ensuring all feedback is documented and addressed through appropriate resolutions, including refunds, return visits, and dining or spa treatments.
- Review Braymark survey results and follow up with department managers to address findings and implement action items.
- Perform billing clerk duties, detailing and BEO.
- Processes and prioritizes all phone calls (i.e., redirects the call, takes a message or offers voice mail messaging).
- Manages projects to ensure their full completion, as assigned.
- Provides support to Executive Office as required.
- Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties Limited products and services.
- Actively seeking ways to meet Guests' product or service needs.
All other duties as assigned.
Professional Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office.
- Ability to perform efficiently and effectively in time pressured situations.
- Two (2) years experience in an administrative support role.
- Ability to compose business correspondence.
Ability to set up and maintain effective filing (computerized/hardcopy) system.
Personal Attributes:
- Excellent prioritizing and organizing skills.
- Above average interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to work interruptions and last minute requests.
- Pleasant, outgoing personality with a strong hospitality orientation.
Diplomatic telephone manner.
