Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in account reconciliation, and supporting various accounting functions using leading software tools. The position requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of corporate finance principles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other platforms to record transactions and generate reports.
  • Conduct account reconciliation and auditing procedures to verify data integrity.
  • Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and financial services tasks as needed.
  • Maintain organized bookkeeping records and prepare documentation for audits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and ensure accuracy in financial statements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and other relevant platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and auditing practices.
  • Experience in corporate finance, payroll management, account analysis, and budgeting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Prior experience in financial services or related industries is advantageous. This position offers an engaging work environment where your expertise will directly impact the organization's financial stability and growth.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $38.52-$41.89 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
