Our long-standing client in Halifax is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a permanent hands-on opportunity for a well-rounded accounting professional who enjoys managing the full accounting cycle and mentoring a small team.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:Manage day-to-day accounting operationsLead month-end close and financial reportingOversee and support two direct reportsMange accounts payable and receivableComplete all reconciliations, including bank and general ledgerContribute to year-end processesExperience & Attributes for Success:CPA designation is not required, but considered a strong assetProven experience in a senior or intermediate accounting roleStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyConfident with technology and adaptable to new systems and processesComfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
