Job Overview

We are seeking a Technical BSA with strong API and integration knowledge along with standard Business Analyst skill sets. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison across business partners, solution designers, scrum teams, and Release Train Engineers. This role requires hands-on experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, Agile delivery, and technical understanding of systems, APIs, and cloud environments.

Role Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between Business, Business Partners, Scrum Teams, Solution Designers, and Release Train Engineers.
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and workflow analysis.
  • Deduce features from business requirements and map them to Epics in JIRA.
  • Document business, user, and system requirements in the form of user stories and spikes in JIRA.
  • Design future business systems and applications using business process diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, data flow diagrams, and UML models with tools such as MS Visio and MS Paint.
  • Develop wireframe diagrams for UI enhancements.
  • Document and maintain software application artifacts in Confluence and SharePoint.
  • Conduct product backlog and refinement sessions.
  • Participate in Sprint Planning, PI Planning, and Scrum ceremonies.

Required SkillsAPI & Integration Expertise

  • Strong understanding of REST, GraphQL, and OData APIs
  • Understanding of data mapping between systems
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Experience using Postman or similar tools for API testing

Agile & Requirements Analysis

  • Understanding of Agile frameworks
  • Requirements analysis and documentation
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Excel for managing stories and tasks

Cloud & Technical Knowledge

  • Knowledge of AWS (or similar cloud platforms)
  • Awareness of message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ for async APIs
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace
