Bilingual (Japanese / English) Sales Specialist (KS)

A global food distribution company in Richmond, BC area is looking for an Bilingual ( Japanese / English ) Sales Specialist. This is a full-time, direct hire position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective accounts, driving sales growth and meeting revenue targets
• Develop strategic account plans to expand product offerings and market share
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
• Prepare and deliver proposals, and presentations to prospective clients
• Serve as the main point of contact for Japanese and English-speaking clients, handling inquiries, orders, and contract negotiations
• Coordinate with supply chain, marketing, and operations teams to ensure on-time delivery and product availability
• Resolve customer issues promptly, escalating when necessary to maintain high levels of satisfaction

Requirements Include:

• Fluent level of Japanese and English language.
• Korean or/and Chinese is also plus.
• Associate's / Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Management or Marketing or related field
• Minimum of 1 year experience in account management, or sales within the food industry.
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean record
• Ability to travel up to 50% locally, with occasional overnight travel required.
• Strong leadership skills in team environment and skills to bring positive atmosphere to the team
• Ability to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment
• Excellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task and perform duties time efficiently
• Team-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivated
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
