Snow Removal Labourer & Driver – Join Our Winter Crew

If you enjoy working outdoors and want to be part of a supportive, hard-working team, this is the job for you Our Snow Removal Team plays a vital role in keeping our sites safe and accessible for customers throughout the winter season.

We're currently seeking a reliable person to drive a snow removal team around our routes.

Schedule & Availability:

  • This is a weather-dependent, call-in position.
  • You will need to be available 24/7 for any call-ins (Monday to Sunday).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be available for all scheduled shifts (Monday to Sunday).
  • Maintain excellent punctuality and attendance.
  • Work and drive safely and efficiently in varying winter conditions.
  • Shovel and salt bus stops/routes.
  • Ensure work areas are safe and clear of snow.
  • Work efficiently in cold and snowy conditions.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain a working cellphone for call-ins.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong work ethic, motivation, and attention to safety.
  • Physically able to life and shovel snow for extended periods.
  • Able to drive a company pick-up truck.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work long hours during snow events.
  • Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • No minimum education required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation to the shop (Kanata).
  • Steel-toed boots required.
