We are growing and looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our fully remote team. This is an opportunity to work directly with CFOs, auditors, and executives of international companies on complex and high-impact financial projects.

Position Overview

Reporting to: Director of Finance / Fractional CFO

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and strategic planning for multiple global clients. You will support NxtEra's CFOs and Controllers on everything from quarterly filings and consolidations to capital markets analysis — helping clients navigate both private and public company finance environments.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and/or U.S. GAAP

· Assist with preparation and review of public company filings including MD&A, 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and S-1 reports

· Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across multi-entity, global structures

· Build and maintain financial models for planning, M&A, and fundraising scenarios

· Perform balance sheet reconciliations, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations

· Collaborate with auditors, valuation experts, and legal counsel during audit and reporting cycles

· Partner with CFOs and Controllers to enhance financial reporting processes and controls

· Conduct ad hoc analysis and provide actionable insights to support executive decision-making

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)

· Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting or finance experience

· Public company reporting experience (IFRS/GAAP) strongly preferred

· Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting experience is a strong asset

· Strong understanding of financial consolidation, equity transactions, and capital structure accounting

· Advanced proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, and Power BI

· Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills

· Self-driven and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple global clients remotely
