The **Financial** **Analyst** is responsible for the complete management of the Finance and Administrative function for RCMI Corporation, including accounting, budgeting, and payroll administration, and to oversee banking, corporate investment portfolio, forecasting and management reporting. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial transactions, internal controls, and systems, and facilitates audits. We are seeking a hardworking individual with very strong analytical skills and a passion for real estate.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish budget monitoring and reporting requirements and processes.
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of monthly financial statements and budget reports preparation.
- Review and approve accounting period deadlines and cut-off periods, payment cycles, and other such events that contribute to the effective posting and execution of accounting transactions each period.
- Oversee the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets in accordance with RCMIC’s accounting policies.
- Review and authorize month-end, quarter-end and year-end entries for accuracy, completeness and in compliance to statutory requirements.
- Prepare package for year-end accounting and external audits, draft and review year-end files, communicate with external auditors, and prepare draft Corporate Financial Statements
- Monitor third-party contracts/service level agreements for variances to Invoices/billings and to budget allocations (as applicable)
- Monthly banks excel reports (understanding of pivot table required)
- Monthly bank reconciliation, Quarterly/Annual Financial statements
- Completion and filing of T4, T4A, T5 slips

**Requirements**:

- **A minimum of 10 years** of combined experience in accounting, budgeting, and financial management with at least five years in a leadership capacity.
- Completion of post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce and or related field.
- CFA, CPA preferred
- Knowledge of Canadian GAAP, and Canada Revenue Agency requirements
- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead and mentor staff.
- Strong organizational skills
