We believe real estate decisions should be data-first, transparent, and scalable, so that complex development projects become more predictable, capital-efficient, and aligned with stakeholder goals. We're growing our U.S. investment analytics team and looking for an Investment Portfolio Analyst who is passionate about real estate, modelling, and turning data into actionable investment strategy.
About the Role
We're looking for an IT Financial Analyst II to join our fast-growing Finance & Operations team.
In this role, you'll bridge finance discipline and technology insight — managing multi-million-dollar AI and IT budgets, improving visibility into platform spend, and building automation that powers data-driven decisions across UnlockLand's engineering and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and forecast multi-million-dollar IT and AI infrastructure budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational goals.
- Maintain financial data accuracy across Planview, Adaptive Insights, and internal BI tools.
- Validate project coding, time allocations, and vendor invoicing for compliance and accuracy.
- Support automation of spend tracking and forecast variance analysis through data dashboards.
- Collaborate with Finance and Technology leaders to develop standard reporting frameworks for capital and operating expenditures.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline budget governance and reduce quarterly close timelines.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Information Systems (required).
- 3 + years of experience in IT financial analysis, FP&A, or tech operations finance.
- Proficiency in Adaptive Insights, Planview, or similar financial planning tools.
- Strong analytical skills — able to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across finance and engineering functions.
- Curiosity for AI, data platforms, and real estate technology is a plus.
- Why UnlockLand
At UnlockLand, we're reimagining how development decisions are made — using AI to compress 10 weeks of due diligence into minutes.
Our mission: to accelerate housing supply and intelligent city growth through data, design, and innovation.
Join a global team of planners, engineers, and creatives from Harvard, Stanford, and Tsinghua shaping the future of urban intelligence.
