Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing exceptional support to both staff and patients. This position requires proficiency in various administrative tasks and a strong understanding of medical and dental office environments. The Administrator will be responsible for managing front desk operations, coordinating patient interactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering inquiries.
  • Handle multi-line phone systems to efficiently manage incoming calls.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the office.
  • Utilize software systems such as Dentrix & Max Assist for patient management and record keeping.
  • A good understanding of insurance plans, breakdowns and frequencies
  • Provide administrative support to staff as needed, including document preparation and filing.
  • Collaborate with dental or medical teams to enhance patient care and office efficiency.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role within a dental office is preferred.
  • Experience with Dentrix is required
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology is beneficial for effective communication within the healthcare setting.
  • Proven administrative experience, including proficiency in office procedures and front desk operations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
