We are looking for a Human Resources Manager for overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources practices and processes in our organization. HR manager is the go-to person for all employee-related issues. This means that your HR manager duties will involve managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and talent management.

Responsibilities

· Human Resources manager is responsible for overall management of all key areas of Human Resources function.

· Provides leadership and consultation to Management in the areas of recruitment and selection, employee retention, performance management, salary and performance review, coaching and development, and policy/legislation awareness.

· Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

· Effective and efficient administration in the areas of employee records, WCB/WSIB claims management, compensation, benefits and other employment programs. Payroll and benefits administration.

· Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.

· Coach Managers for managing employee relation and retention.

· Manage the recruitment and selection process.

· Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.

· Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.

· Nurture a positive working environment.

· Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

· Develop and Maintain pay plan and benefits program.

· Develop and Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.

· Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

· Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

Requirements

· Minimum five years of progressive experience in mid size organization or related fields

· Graduate degree in Human Resources Manager or a related field with best practices

· Demonstrate advanced customer focus, judgment, analytical skills, critical thinking and communication skills required

· Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

· People-oriented and results-driven

· Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

· Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics

· Knowledge of HR systems and databases

· Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills

· Good understanding of labor relations and Ontario labor laws

· Proficiency of both speaking and writing in CHINESE is a MUST

Job Type: Full-time
