Role: Salesforce Developer

Location: Calgary, Alberta (Hybrid - 4 days in office/week)

Duration: Long Term Contract role (12+ Months)

Must have:

  • 5-8+ years IT experience working in a senior development and/or Lead Development role on engineering teams with at least 5 years of Salesforce Platform experience delivering large projects/programs: Salesforce configuration, customization and development using
  • 5+ years proven experience operating in an Agile framework on large/enterprise programs from initiation to implementation
  • Hands-on experience with the Lightning platform including APEX coding, Lightning Web Components, API's and Salesforce Data Model
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and its architecture and product suite including Sales & Service Cloud and/or Financial Services Cloud
  • Strong technical background with web development technologies like Java, C#, HTML, XML, JSP and JavaScript
  • Experience integrating Salesforce applications with 3rd party systems using Mulesoft, REST API and event based integration patterns
  • Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer I (PDI)

Nice to Have:

  • Expertise in Cloud Computing, virtualization and SaaS Platforms (beyond CRM)
  • Expertise in data migration initiatives
  • Experience implementing CRM solutions in the financial services sector
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps best practices and tools including Jenkins, AutoRABIT and COPADO
  • Wealth Management industry experience related to business processes and workflows
  • Experience with DevOps pipeline and building and managing rollback strategy in Salesforce
  • Experience with Einstein and leveraging for Predictive Analytics, Next Best Action, etc.
  • Experience working with KAFKA
  • A keen eye for improving processes within the Software Development Lifecycle – advocating for & driving change
