Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional customer service. You will leverage your mechanical knowledge and sales skills to provide accurate service recommendations, upsell additional services, and facilitate smooth transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally as they arrive at the service department.
  • Assess customer needs and provide detailed explanations of automotive services and repairs.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Manage service appointments and maintain an organized schedule for technicians.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
  • Upsell additional services or products based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.

Experience

  • Experience as a mechanic or in automotive repair is highly desirable.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
  • Proven customer service skills with a focus on building relationships and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Sales experience, particularly in upselling automotive services, is a plus.
