Your Impact
The Sr Business Systems Analyst (BSA) serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role is responsible for analyzing complex business problems, designing system solutions, and ensuring successful implementation of technology initiatives that align with organizational goals. The Lead BSA also mentors junior analysts, manages requirements across multiple projects, and ensures best practices in analysis and documentation.

As Sr Business Systems Analyst, You Will

  • Lead end-to-end analysis of business processes, system capabilities, and user needs to define functional and technical specifications.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
  • Identify system gaps and recommend enhancements through feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business units, Product Managers, developers, and QA teams to align on priorities and solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and sprint planning sessions to elicit, validate, and refine requirements.
  • Partner with architects and data teams to design scalable systems and support UAT planning, execution, and resolution.
  • Ensure solutions meet standards for security, compliance, and data governance while driving continuous improvement.
  • Mentor analysts, enforce best practices in documentation, and evaluate emerging technologies for process optimization.

What It Takes To Succeed

  • 5-7 years of experience in business systems analysis
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams on complex, enterprise-level projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Strong background in systems integration, data analysis, and process mapping.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with working in various enterprise level billing platforms (e.g., SAP, Zuora etc).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of API integrations, cloud platforms, and workflow automation.
  • Experience working with various tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio etc.
