Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the company's financial health. Duties

  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and account reconciliations using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and perform account analysis to verify accuracy of financial data
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial projects related to corporate finance and financial services

Skills

  • Extensive experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other relevant platforms
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation processes
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping, auditing, and account analysis techniques
  • Ability to perform budgeting, financial reporting, and payroll management effectively
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and financial services industry standards
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
