MaxSys – an Agilus company, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support one of our federal client. The services aim to provide procurement expertise to the senior and executive level within Director General Information Technology Infrastructure (DGITI) for the daily operations and procurement process.

(must be residing in Canada since 10 years)

Must-Haves (no exceptions):

5 years of performing data entry in ERP systems – like DRMIS, SAP, Oracle, etc. regarding procurement related tasks.

5 years of procurement tasks - identifying suppliers, evaluating bids, preparing documents.

5 years of preparing complex procurement documents such as Statements of Work (SOW), Requests for Proposals (RFP), etc.

5 years of practical experience using MS Excel or spreadsheet applications to perform data entry.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Receive and review procurement requests, validate documentation, and create corresponding folders in SharePoint Online.
  • Generate Financial Requisitions (FRs) in ERP, assign appropriate codes, and update procurement trackers with relevant information.
  • Organize and archive all procurement-related documents in SPO, ensuring completeness and accessibility.
  • Send and receive procurement documents, track communications using file numbers, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Create new vendor profiles in ERP and manage invoice processing for vendors not already listed.
  • Run procurement-related reports, validate data, and assist in ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Provide support in tracking and validating documentation related to the receipt and movement of goods, ensuring alignment with procurement records and systems
