Snow Removal Crew Member

Responsibilities:

  • Clearing sidewalks and parking lots for Commercial and Residential Customers using various snow removal tools and equipment at every snow event.
  • Perform snow removal with clean passes and provide excellent customer service in order to retain existing customers and promote new business as well as respect the public.
  • Site checks are required to ensure the safety of our customers and the public, even if it didn't snow.
  • Follow and maintain all safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain effective communication throughout the snow event with the office staff and other crew members.
  • Keep trucks and equipment in clean and operating order.
  • Complete your snow route promptly while being thorough.
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Physically fit and able to work in all winter weather conditions to meet our customers' demands.
  • Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record. Must have experience pulling trailers.
  • Must be able to perform physical work duties for extended periods of time including lifting snow repetitively.
  • Ability to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to arrive on time at site locations for all shifts.
  • Knowledge of landscape maintenance and snow removal techniques is an asset.
  • Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and repairs on equipment
  • Must have a working cell phone 24/7 with working data. Access for routes, timesheets, communication app, and email is a must.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle readily available to commute from home to home at any given hour of the day.
  • Must be available 24/7 to meet our customer demands, beginning November - April (including weekends and holidays as necessary).
