Full job description

We are seeking dedicated Sidewalk crew Leaders, sidewalk teams and staff to operate Loaders, Skid steers, and plow trucks to remove snow in commercial parking lots of our contracted commercial sites. Possibly Operate a sand truck if interested. Experience is beneficial, but not necessarily for sidewalk crew lead.

This position will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks and hauling/operating our equipment to assist with all snow removal tasks while always providing exceptional customer service.

RTC offers both seasonal and year-round employment. Preferred Qualifications

• Previous landscaping, snow removal and/or property maintenance experience is an asset
• Ability to take direction, learn and work independently as well as part of a team
• Motivated and energetic team player with an attention to detail and a great work ethic

Rockytop Construction Ltd. (RTC) is an established leader with over two decades in the landscape construction, maintenance and snow removal market in Calgary and areas. We deliver 'white glove' landscaping and snow removal services to large commercial properties.

Position Type & Schedule:

Full time and part-time (laid off for the winter), possible cash compensation for team members with seasonal fluctuations – we are busy right up till the snow flies, and over the winter months we clear snow with various methods of equipment. All start times in spring, summer 8:30 am and fall months and winter season is 7:00 pm-10:00 pm for equipment operators and various hours for foot crews, depending on mother nature. Summer is Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday's and long weekend allways closed. Winter is on-call - we work when Mother Nature says we do In between snow events we do residential and commercial renovations.

Pay Scale Based on Experience, Skills and Qualifications in the Landscape construction, maintenance and snow removal industry.

Crew Leads start at $24-$28 per hour,

labourers $18-$23.

Equipment operators with experience $28-$35 Hr.

Growth potential within the company and we have a clear path for how to earn higher wages in the Crew Lead position and if interested and show the competence can possibly move up into a management position.
