Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Triton Environmental Consultants Full time $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Your future. Our Environment. One shared purpose.

Your Opportunity

Triton is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity — we are hiring an additional Client Services Manager (CSM) to join our Rockies West regional team

Our CSM's play a key role and are responsible for delivering corporate level support to Operations Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators. This includes supporting revenue generating initiatives such as identifying new opportunities, developing proposals, and assisting with contract negotiations. You will also be responsible for managing project finances, including developing change orders, analyzing write-offs, and monitoring key financial metrics at the regional, office, and project levels.

Furthermore, you will contribute to the development of corporate policies related to business development and project financial management. In addition, you will support the communication and implementation of these policies through ongoing collaboration with the operations team. Building and maintaining a network of contacts will be essential, as you will actively engage in business development to secure additional revenue from existing clients.

Your Impact

  • You will work with the Regional Manager to help develop overall revenue and GOI targets for the region, as well as create plans to support these targets and business goals. These plans will include monitoring and reporting progress, providing regular updates to the Regional Manager, and identifying any potential challenges or areas where additional support may be needed.

  • You will work with Regional Project Managers to ensure client opportunities are maximized. Opportunities for existing clients include but is not limited to:

  • Expansion of revenue with existing clients
  • Expansion of services provided to existing clients
  • Expansion of geography or locations of services provided to existing clients

  • You will collaborate with Regional Project Managers to establish financial margins based on KPIs for work performed with existing clients. These will include:

  • Labour GOI Margins
  • Disbursement GOI Margins
  • Subcontractor Margins
  • Project Gross Margins

  • You will continually assess and report overall client satisfaction to the Regional Manager. This will involve maintaining regular client contact, developing client-based surveys to gather feedback on their experience working with Triton and setting objectives to improve project delivery.

  • You will support and collaborate with the Regional Manager, Sales Manager, and Strategic Accounts Manager to conduct project manager performance reviews. These reviews will include, but are not limited to, evaluating financial and client satisfaction reports with project managers and setting performance goals.

Business Development (BD) and Client Relations Management

  • Lead and/or participate in proposal development as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts within the regional and corporate markets.
  • Monitor the success and Return on Investment (ROI) of individual business development (BD) efforts, including those of Regional Project Managers on existing clients
  • Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and provide go/no-go recommendations for business development efforts.
  • Review Triton proposals before submission—checking assumptions, evaluating risks to the company, and confirming rates for existing clients.
  • Lead project problem-solving and project recovery management
  • Identify business development opportunities
  • Lead client satisfaction initiatives and relationship-building efforts with existing clients.

Note: Responsibilities may evolve as business needs grow and as you build your skills in the role.

Your Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Relevant post-secondary education
  • Extensive experience in sales, proposal writing, and developing work plans for clients
  • Extensive experience in budgeting, financial management, and change orders
  • Proficient with computers and highly skilled in MS Office applications
  • Demonstrated leadership aptitude
  • Ability to set and track progress toward goals for self and Project Managers
  • Skilled at providing performance feedback and assisting staff with personal goal setting.
  • Ability to prepare and make comprehensive presentations, participate in formal debate, and communicate professionally before an audience
  • Proven ability to build strong interpersonal relationships and foster a positive, productive team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on effective solutions that improve systems and relationships

You'll Enjoy

  • Exciting, meaningful projects across Western Canada
  • A collaborative and inclusive team culture
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, including a Health Spending Account and pension matching
  • Paid professional membership fees (including in-training designations)

  • Professional development opportunities
