We are growing and looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview

The Occupational Therapist will provide comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for clients with physical, cognitive, and functional challenges. You will work alongside physiotherapists, massage therapists, and other allied health professionals to deliver coordinated care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments for clients with orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence, return to work, and daily living skill development.
  • Provide therapy interventions including:
  • ADL training
  • Functional capacity & ergonomic assessments
  • Return-to-work support
  • Splinting recommendations (if applicable)
  • Cognitive and perceptual strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
  • Educate clients and families on therapy goals, home programs, and self-management strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Active registration (or eligibility) with ACOT – Alberta College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Valid professional liability insurance.
  • Experience in private practice, community care, or rehab settings is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for client-centered care and ongoing professional development.
