Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook Indian menu items according to recipes and standards
  • Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

Experience

  • Previous experience in an Indian restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
