Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations within a restaurant or food service environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
  • Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
  • Support the overall operation of the kitchen during busy periods, including serving guests when necessary

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred, especially within a restaurant or food industry setting
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Basic understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
