Job Description

We're seeking a mature, reliable, and independent Accounting Administrator to support a small, collaborative accounting team within a healthcare environment in Halifax. This part-time role (three days per week) is well-suited for someone who thrives in a hands-on position and enjoys a variety of accounting support duties.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

Manage high volumes of accounts payable transactionsPrepare bank reconciliations for two accountsCoordinate contractor (doctor) paymentsProcess bi-weekly payroll through CeridianWork regularly with QuickBooks (QB Office) and Excel

Experience & Attributes for Success:

Post-secondary education in accounting or bookkeeping, or an equivalent combination of training and experiencePrevious experience working in a healthcare-related setting is an assetStrong ability to work independentlyReliable and proactive work styleTeam-oriented mindset to support a tight-knit team
