Are you passionate about driving meaningful change and supporting community-focused initiatives? Our client, a Canadian organization dedicated to advancing equity, is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Coordinator to join their Halifax team. This role plays a key part in supporting and coordinating strategic initiatives, special projects, and programs that foster community development and social impact.
Key Responsibilities for the Job:
Coordinate the implementation and tracking of multiple strategic initiatives and projectsSupport project scheduling, deliverables, timelines, and cross-departmental collaborationProvide logistical and administrative support for meetings, workshops, and eventsAssist with the management of grant programs, including application logistics, implementation, and reportingSupport data collection, performance tracking, and evaluation across initiativesContribute to the preparation of internal and external reports, presentations, and updatesProvide day-to-day operational and administrative support, including budget tracking, invoice processing, and file managementExperience & Attributes for Success:
3+ years of experience in project or program coordination, ideally in the nonprofit or community development sectorProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management/collaboration tools (e.g., Asana)Bilingual proficiency in French and English is strongly preferredStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills; able to prepare clear reports and communicate with diverse audiencesExperience supporting data collection, monitoring, and evaluation activitiesStrong project coordination and analytical skillsAbility to build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholdersAdaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environmentIf interested in this opportunity, please apply online by clicking the Apply Now button.
