Overview

As a Flower Designer, you will unleash your creativity and passion for floral artistry to craft stunning arrangements that bring joy and beauty to our customers' lives. You'll play a vital role in creating memorable experiences through your floral designs, whether for special occasions or everyday moments. Your expertise will shine as you engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide exceptional service while managing inventory and maintaining a vibrant retail environment.

What you'll do

  • Design and create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday celebrations.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by assisting clients in selecting the perfect flowers and arrangements that suit their needs.
  • Manage inventory by stocking fresh flowers and supplies, ensuring the shop is always well-presented and organized.
  • Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions, cash handling, and maintaining accurate sales records.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute merchandising strategies that highlight seasonal offerings and promotions.
  • Maintain knowledge of horticulture and gardening techniques to advise customers on plant care and selection.
  • Engage in e-commerce activities by promoting products online and assisting with order fulfillment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers in English and other languages as needed to enhance the shopping experience.

Basic qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with a knack for customer engagement.
  • Experience in floral design or a related field is preferred but not required; passion for flowers is essential

Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening practices.
  • Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in sales analysis.
  • Multilingual abilities to cater to a diverse customer base are a plus.
  • Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is advantageous.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
