Overview

We are seeking a passionate and creative Floral Designer to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who have a love for flowers and design, as well as a strong background in customer service and retail sales. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, assisting customers with their selections, and maintaining the overall aesthetic of our floral displays.

Duties

  • Design and create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, holidays, and everyday celebrations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral department, ensuring all displays are visually appealing.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop merchandising strategies that promote sales and attract customers.

Experience

  • Previous experience in retail flower shop experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain an orderly workspace.

Job Types: Casual, Seasonal

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
