Metal Building Installer/Pre-Engineer/Self Storage Erector

Net Zero Construction is Canadian owned and operated and has been an industry leader in providing self-storage spaces.

We are looking for an experienced laborer to join us in the construction division. We are willing to train with the right candidate.

Job Summary:

  • General Labour/Installation of Light Gauge Studding, Exterior Cladding, Metal Studs, and Standing Seam Roof.
  • Wages Range depending on experience, attendance, and willing to learn. Driver's license is a must but transportation from Carpool to the job site will be provided.
  • Company Health Benefits including Dental.
  • Training tickets are required but willing to provide to the right candidate-WHMIS is required. Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform and Telehandler Training are beneficial but not required to start.
  • Hard Hat, Steel Toe Boots, Reflective Vest and Hand Tools required.

We are looking for energetic candidates who don't mind getting dirty and performing labor in a construction environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely performing a variety of tasks including assist daily tasks for the supervisor, carrying heavy equipment on site, and erecting structures according to blueprints. Every day is a new challenge for our experienced Construction Laborers and we love being able to offer a variety of work environments and job site locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Experience:

  • construction: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)

  • Forklift Licence (preferred)
