As an Sales Development Representative, you are the engine of our growth. This is an entry-point role focused entirely on outbound prospecting—you'll be the first voice connecting with potential clients, introducing them to the power of our platform, and setting up the initial sales conversation. We're looking for a highly motivated, phone-focused professional ready to build foundational sales skills and grow into a top performer.

What You'll Do

  • Focus 100% on Outbound Calling: Dedicate your time to making a high volume of cold calls daily to targeted prospects in the fleet management and logistics industry.
  • Generate Qualified Leads: Engage decision-makers, gauge their interest, and clearly articulate the value proposition of Shift Fleet AI to qualify them as potential customers.
  • Book Discovery Meetings: Successfully schedule introductory meetings and product demos.
  • Utilize the Sales Stack: Diligently manage and track all outreach activities and prospect interactions using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate and Learn: Work closely with the other teams to refine scripts, targeting strategies, and messaging based on performance data.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume calling role, telemarketing, or equivalent customer-facing position.
  • Thick Skin and Resilience: You are comfortable handling rejection and maintain a positive, energetic attitude through a demanding calling schedule.
  • Exceptional Phone Presence: You are articulate, confident, and persuasive on the phone, capable of quickly building rapport with business professionals.
  • Coachability: You possess a strong desire to learn, absorb feedback rapidly, and implement new sales techniques immediately.
  • Basic Tech Fluency: Comfortable navigating a CRM and other basic outreach tools.
