Service Appointment Co-Ordinator

Position Summary:
John Bear Auto Group is looking for a customer-focused, driven Service Appointment Coordinator to join our St Catharines dealership. In this role, you will be responsible for generating appointments for our Service Department. The successful candidate should be outgoing, reliable, have strong communication skills and enjoy working with customers over the phone.
Pay: $18.00 per hour plus bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Contact customers to generate service appointments
- Manage and schedule appointments
- Provide exceptional customer service when dealing with customers
- Ensure customers understand their vehicles' maintenance needs, how we can help meet those needs, and the benefits of ensuring scheduled services are performed on time and by qualified professionals
- Perform outbound call campaigns as required
- Keep customer information updated in our systems (Dealermine)
- Continue to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading manufacturers' publications
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules and requirements
- Stay up to date on dealer and dealership promotions
- Handle customer complaints immediately
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in a customer service role
- Excellent telephone communication skills
- Understanding of Service Department operations
- Dealer related systems experience would be considered an asset (Dealermine, PBS)
- Highly effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills in order to work with customers and colleagues
