Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a Mining company in Downtown Calgary, AB. We are seeking a Contract Administrator to join their team immediately. This is a 12-month contract, full time hours, Monday to Friday.

Job responsibilities:

  • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
  • Support the Contracts Specialist with the Enquiry to Award Process and end to end Project Procurement requirements
  • Administer Site Contracts with oversight by the Contract Specialist
  • Update Contract Status Management Report (CSMR) weekly with information (includes contract expiry, current contract value, comments, required award dates, budget numbers, contract owners etc.).
  • Contract specific administration and reporting including but not limited to; contract invoice reconciliation, changes management, letters & correspondence, holdbacks, claims, potential claims, trends etc.
  • Maintain all relevant filing requirements
  • Review and approve invoices in-compliance with the agreement including LEMs
  • Participates in meetings support documentation and distribution of minutes
  • Support contract closeout in accordance with applicable legislation

What you need to succeed:

  • Degree, diploma, certificate, or designation, such as Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) or a similar program; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years of experience, site experience is an asset, in an EPC or EPCM company or owners project team and managing and executing contract lifecycle activities
  • Understanding and experience with project lifecycles, project procedures, project roles and responsibilities
