What's a typical day as Contracts Advisor? You'll be:


• Reporting to the SCM Manager, supporting TA Event Managers and the broader TA team throughout the contract lifecycle


• Managing end-to-end contract processes for major, medium, and minor contractors, ensuring compliance with SCM policies and proactive risk management


• Developing contract strategies, facilitating supplier selection, preparing RFPs/RFQs, and leading negotiations during the planning phase


• Overseeing contract execution, building relationships with contractors, providing reporting and oversight, and advising teams on commercial issues


• Handling contract change management, claims delivery, performance reviews, and financial oversight


• Facilitating contract closeout, supporting claims resolution, and ensuring proper documentation and invoice processing

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:


• Hold a post-secondary degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management (preferred)


• Have 10+ years' experience in contract management or supply chain management, ideally in turnarounds, large construction, or brownfield projects


• Bring turnaround and/or major construction project experience (asset)


• Are proficient in Microsoft Office, Ariba, SAP, SLM Toolkit, NaviTrack, and TRACK contractor timekeeping software


• Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, contract management, governance knowledge, and stakeholder management skills


• Can prioritize and manage multiple tasks, understanding strategic, technical, legal, financial, taxation, and commercial issues


• Are able to travel to the US infrequently (approx. 3 visits per year required)
