Accounting Administrator

The Accounting Administrator keeps Egar Tool and Die's financial operations running smoothly. From processing vendor invoices and preparing customer billing to maintaining accurate records for audits and supporting month-end closings, this role ensures timely payments and reliable reporting. By handling essential accounting tasks and assisting other departments, the Accounting Administrator is key to our efficiency and success.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders and receipts, and ensure accurate payment scheduling.
  • Prepare customer invoices, record payments, and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Maintain accounting records to support audits and financial reviews.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Support other departments with data entry and administration as required.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

  • Bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office: 5 years (required)
  • Manufacturing facility: 2 years (preferred)
