Order Desk Coordinator Job Description

We are looking for an organized, customer focused Order Desk, Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator to support daily order processing, shipping and inventory activities.

This role works closely with internal departments, customers, and carriers to ensure accurate, efficient and on-time deliveries.

Order Desk Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Process and prepare shipping paperwork, load sheets, and custom documents.· Complete and maintain order transactions in Sage.
  • Complete and maintain order transactions in Sage.
  • Communicate with customers and sales representatives to provide order and tracking updates.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and shippers to meet customer delivery timelines.
  • Process returns and manage shipment discrepancies.
  • Verify accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments and resolve inventory issues.
  • Support daily warehouse operations, transfers and logistics scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate records for shipments, orders and freight claims.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards.

Order Desk Coordinator Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in order desk, logistics and customer service (distribution or manufacturing preferred).
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • High-attention to details and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Computer proficient.
