Royal Building Supplies Ltd. is a supplier of building materials to commercial and residential customers throughout Toronto, ON. We are currently looking for energetic and dependable individuals to join our team as **Order Desk Associate**. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoicing, order desk and customer service. We are looking for individuals who are detail oriented, have a positive attitude, and are willing to learn. You will be working in a team environment with other team members. We are a company that values our employees and provides a great work-life balance.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Taking orders at the sales counter and over the phone
- Building relationships with customers
- Ability to use company computer system to enter orders
- Complete sales orders and tender cash sales
- Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases
- Cold-call prospects that are generated by external sources of lead
- Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
- Overcome objections of prospective customers
- Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports
Job Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation to work.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Great with numbers
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
