Provisioning Support – Telecommunications/Network Operations

We are looking for an experienced Provisioning Support Specialist to join our Telecommunications/Network Operations team. In this role, you'll design, implement, and test telecom services of major complexity, while providing technical guidance and project support for large-scale customer and internal projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and provision telecom services, including SONET, fibre, and IP-based technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance on provisioning standards, processes, and designs.
  • Act as a single point of contact for customers during large implementations.
  • Support procurement, vendor evaluations, and contract negotiations.
  • Conduct cost analysis, audits, and prepare project plans with timelines and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate site visits, equipment installations, and acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to deliver services on time and within budget.

What We're Looking For:

  • 8–10 years of experience in telecom design, provisioning, and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of fibre cable installation, optical switching, Ethernet standards, and router/switch configuration (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Ciena).
  • Experience with telecom service provisioning, cost estimation, and large project delivery.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and Visio for reporting and project documentation.
  • University degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
