What You'll Do:

Serve Our Community: Provide exceptional customer service, support public programs and events, and ensure all visitors enjoy safe and positive experiences.

Maintain and Operate Facilities: Manage mechanical systems including ice, heating, ventilation, and pool operations; perform repairs and preventative maintenance; oversee facility setup, cleaning, and security.

Collaborate and Improve: Work closely with your team, contribute to a safe and supportive work environment, and participate in ongoing training and improvement initiatives.

Lead with Integrity: Follow Township policies, procedures, and legislation, taking accountability for your work and the facilities you oversee.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2–4 years' experience in arena services, building maintenance, or related roles.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education an asset

  • Technical knowledge of ice making, pool operations, building maintenance, and equipment use.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork, customer service, and conflict resolution.

  • Valid Ontario Class "G" driver's license; Standard First Aid/CPR C/AED certification

  • Certifications such as Certified Ice Technician (CIT), Certified Aquatic Technician (CAT), Smart Serve, and other applicable training.

Working Conditions:

This role involves physically active work, including lifting, operating equipment, and outdoor activity in varying weather. This position works 40 hours per week including evenings and weekends. This position works at various locations across the Township.

Pay Range: $27.38 to $30.25 per hour
