Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Jewelry Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, assist customers in selecting jewelry pieces, and ensure an engaging shopping experience. This role involves promoting products through demonstrations and upselling, maintaining merchandising standards, and supporting daily store operations. Bilingual skills and experience in retail sales or technical sales are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and drive sales growth.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance in selecting jewelry items.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase jewelry features and craftsmanship.
  • Assist with merchandising, including organizing displays and maintaining store presentation standards.
  • Operate POS systems for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately.
  • Upsell complementary products and accessories to increase sales opportunities.
  • Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person with professional communication skills.
  • Support inventory management by stock replenishment and product organization.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment at all times.
  • Handle cashiering duties efficiently, including processing returns and exchanges while adhering to store policies.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse customers effectively.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve a broader customer base are preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing merchandise displays and inventory records.
  • Proficiency in retail technology systems, POS operations, and basic math for transactions.
  • Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette.
  • Sales-driven mindset with experience in upselling and product demos to maximize revenue.
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shopping periods.
