Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, and conducting bank reconciliations. The Accountant will also ensure compliance with accounting standards and perform monthly and yearly closings. This role is located in Vaughan, ON.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience in accounts payable and receivable management
  • Proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Ability to conduct bank reconciliations accurately
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus
  • Previous experience in the construction or home building industry is advantageous
