Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests by providing exceptional service and expertly crafted drinks.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS, while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices are adhered to.
  • Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
