Senior Investment Analyst

North York, ON (In-office)

$110,000- $120,000 base with excellent bonus/ benefits

Our client is an established North American real estate investment and asset management firm who is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to join there team. The firm is active across a range of commercial and residential development projects, investing both independently and through partnerships with established real estate groups. Its leadership team has successfully invested billions of dollars across public and private real estate vehicles, including funds, REITs, and institutional partnerships.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with senior leaders on major, large-scale developments, while gaining exposure to acquisitions, asset management, financings, and joint ventures. It's an ideal role for an analytically minded professional eager to advance their career in a hands-on, entrepreneurial, and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support new acquisitions (approx. 50%) through underwriting, financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction structuring.
  • Contribute to asset management (approx. 50%), including financial reporting, financing activities, and joint venture oversight.
  • Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and models for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and liaise with development, finance, and external partners to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Engage in broader corporate initiatives such as fundraising, deal structuring, and investor relations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, brokers, advisors, and other market participants.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2–4+ years of experience in real estate investment, private equity, or related finance (investment banking, corporate finance, etc.).
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting; graduate degree or CFA designation is an asset.
  • Advanced financial modeling and Excel proficiency.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with institutional standards of rigor and professionalism.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.
