What You'll Do;
As a Digital Marketing Specialist with Sporting Life Group, you will be supporting in the research, planning and management of organic search and paid media channels across our retail banners Sporting Life, Golf Town & Team Town Sports.
Within this role, you will be executing strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and be dedicated to driving organic search, SEO, GEO/AEO. If you're data-driven, passionate about e-commerce, retail and have experience working with platforms such as Google Search Console, SEMRush, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and Google Analytics, this role is for you.
Developing organic search, AI- Search and content strategies
Coordinate with specialist teams for SEO, social, content production and execution
Work with Data Team and other stakeholders on data enrichment projects
Able to audit Golf Town's and Sporting Life eCom SEO and develop related strategies
Define and build Keyword lists based on each banners objectives
Support efforts to improve brand and content visibility in AI-powered search tools such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and similar platforms
Help structure and optimize content so it is easily understood, cited, and surfaced by AI systems
Monitor changes in AI-driven search experiences and help adapt content strategies accordingly
On page optimization strategies to achieve organic visibility and improve ranking
Technical audits to identify areas of improvement from an SEO perspective
Review web analytics data to analyze performance visitor behavior and upcoming trends
Collaborate with content and go to market team to help identify opportunities to create, distribute and promote SLG web content
What You'll Bring;
1-3 years of experience working in a Digital Marketing Environment, ideally within an agency and with retail industry exposure
Knowledge of factors that influence search engine rankings
Think strategically to identify and define keyword opportunities for optimization
Experience using SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, ContentKing, Google Analytics, Surfer/Frase (crawlers, analytics platforms, CMS, marketing software, etc.)
Experience with paid search (Google AdWords, Bing Ads, etc) is a plus
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Docs
